tone

[edit]

Has a very unprofessional tone. I may clean it it up when I have the chance, but if anyone else can clean it up, I would appreicate it.THE evil fluffyface 18:10, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Was cleaned up 11/23/06 by Prof. Didicher and her Eng103 class at Simon Fraser University. Looks a lot better if you ask me. - J — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.58.211.84 (talk)

I'm still keeping an eye on this page; it needs to be rewritten in a wiki-style tone with cited references.THE evil fluffyface 07:13, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Query: I'm a little confused by the reference (towards the end of the article) to "Clinton" as an important cameo character in Cloud Nine - who is Clinton? Is this a typo? Did you mean Martin? I saw the play last night and have no memory of Clinton at all so obviously not that important if he was in the play... WikiProject Theatre - class=Stub: really Start level info here, but needs formatting to get that rating. Importance=low, a single play is a "highly specific area of knowledge"--Dereksmootz (talk) 20:11, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The plot synopsis seems critical and biased as opposed to an actual synopsis. This probably needs cleaning up again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.213.240.86 (talk) 15:17, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the synopsis for Act 2 is particularly bad. Can someone with a copy of the script please fix it? NeoAdamite (talk) 16:09, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it called Cloud 9?

[edit]

Would somebody please explain why this play is called Cloud 9? 129.6.219.251 (talk) 02:26, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm speculating here, but normally in USA English "Cloud 9" refers to being in ecstasy. In this play, there are a lot of people having non-conventional sex. I'm assuming that being able to express oneself sexually is what they see as being on Cloud 9. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talkcontribs) 04:25, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Off Broadway

[edit]

There is an external link to a list of when this play appeared Off Broadway in NYC, but that should be mentioned in the body of the article.
